Venuti Mayoka Group Donates Computer Equipment

Posted by Venuti Mayoka Group Posted on Feb 01 2018

Venuti Mayoka Group, a tax and business consulting firm, is pleased to announce the donation of computer equipment to the Huntington Freedom Center, one of the Long Island Head Starts (LIHS), located at 159 Railroad St. Huntington Station, NY 11746.

Mark Mayoka, CEO of Venuti Mayoka Group, said “We are strong believers in supporting early childhood development organizations whose needs are often overlooked, and we saw the Freedom Center as the perfect place.”

LIHS is a private non-profit organization, of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, that provides at-risk children with early childhood education, health, and nutrition, and parent involvement services to those low-income families. With over 25 Head Start & Early Head Start Centers across Long Island, they are able to provide a comprehensive learning environment for children, as well as assisting parents in reaching self-sufficiency.  In turn, we hope the computers that were donated can play an important role in the development of not only the children and parents, but the staff as well.
